Your experience and about me:

I have some personal experience of the issues I list on this site. I've been through some pretty big life challenges and as a result, had lots of therapy myself. I have some idea of how overwhelming life can be and how daunting it can be to find someone to talk with about what's going on.

When you experience major life challenges sometimes it's too much to manage alone.

If this is where you are today, message me and we'll talk. I'll treat you with respect and warmth, I hope that from our first contact you will feel in safe hands.

I believe that we all have the capacity to work towards peaceful, fulfilling and happy lives and that honouring ourselves through proper self-care can be the greatest gift in life and also the greatest gift that we can offer the world and the people in our lives.

I will help you to find your way through the difficulties you're encountering. Whether you have short or long-term therapy we will work toward greater insight and resilience so that you can experience true well-being and inner peace.

How I work: Most of my work is online, in this way I see clients from across the English speaking world. Some people prefer to come to my counselling rooms (in central London or in Essex). Other people enjoy therapy in nature this can be particularly helpful when working with teenagers. When it is difficult to access therapy, on occasion I travel to see clients.

A bit about me: The most important things to me are my friends and family. I love being in nature, travelling, music, art, film and photography.

I'm involved with setting up mental healthcare and psycho-education projects for young people. I support people who are going through treatment for addictions. I run a meditation circle in my community and I have a personal meditation practice founded on my experience of living for a while in the monastery of Thich Naht Hanh the Buddhist Zen teacher. I also draw on the work of Tara Brach, Gabor Mate and Irvine Yalom.

I'm insured and DBS checked, I have ongoing supervision and continue with personal and professional development. My work is rigorously ethical and fully confidential. I've been working with clients since 2016 and I have an MA in Psychospiritual Psychology and a Diploma in Psychotherapy with CBT. I'm a member of the National Council of Integrative Psychotherapists.
